Unless the operator has published their own cancellation terms, you get a full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before your service date. Where an operator has their own policy, you see it on the listing and again before you pay — that policy is the one that applies.
If the operator cancels — a flooded room, a vehicle off the road — you are refunded in full however late it happens. The window only applies when you are the one cancelling.
Refunds are paid by the operator straight to your bank account, the same way you paid. Your booking page shows the refund's progress: owed, sent by the operator, and received once you confirm it has arrived. If a refund has not reached you, tell us and we will follow it up with the operator.
An unpaid booking can be cancelled from your booking page at any time before you pay. Security deposits on hire cars and charters are separate from the price and are returned after the hire.
