What “Reserved” and “Confirmed” mean

The two statuses a booking can have, and what each one means for your dates.

  • Reserved — you have booked and your dates are held, but the operator has not yet recorded your payment. Make the transfer and tap “I've made the transfer”.
  • Confirmed — the operator has recorded your payment. Your booking is final and you will receive a confirmation email with everything you need.
  • Cancelled — either you or the operator cancelled. If money is owed back to you, it shows on the booking with the refund's progress.

There is no “waiting for the operator to accept” state. Operators do not accept or decline bookings — if a listing is bookable, your booking is real from the moment you make it. The only thing that changes Reserved to Confirmed is your payment landing.

Quick answers

Does the operator have to accept my booking?

No. If a listing is bookable, your booking is real the moment you make it and your dates are held. The only thing that moves it from Reserved to Confirmed is your payment being recorded.
