A half-day west of Honiara at Bonegi, where two Japanese transports sank close enough to shore to swim out to. Bonegi I starts in three metres of water, so you do not need to dive to see it. Guide, entry fee to the beach, snorkel briefing and fruit and drinks on the sand are included.
